La Sfogliata- Piadina
Piadina is an authentic type of “flatbread” and is very popular in Italy for lunch or as a meal. It once started as a “street food” in the Rome and Romagna region where the bread was simply prepared on heated terracotta trays and topped with various ingredients such as raw ham or cream cheese. Apart from now being made in the pan, not much has changed. Lunch like the Italians.
Our piadina is made in Modena, Italy and contains only natural ingredients. The semola di grano duro and extra virgin olive oil provide that typical authentic Italian flavour. Buon appetito!
The ingredients Bertolli uses in its recipes are of the highest quality. You can taste this in every bite you take of Bertolli’s pasta sauces, pestos, pizza sauces and pizza bases.
Bertolli was founded in 1865 in Lucca, Tuscany. Francesco Bertolli and his wife Caterina opened a delicacy shop after which they started exporting Italian products to Italian migrants around the world. To this day, Bertolli aims to make all the good things from authentic, simple and delicious Italian cuisine available to everyone.
