With our piadina and Pesto alla Genovese @sannevanlierop the best lunch in ages!
Piadina is an authentic type of “flatbread” and is very popular in Italy for lunch or as a meal. It once started as a “street food” in the Rome and Romagna region where the bread was simply prepared on heated terracotta trays and topped with various ingredients such as raw ham or cream cheese. Apart from now being made in the pan, not much has changed. Eat lunch like the Italians do!
