It is inspired by cooking from your pantry which our Pesto alla Genovese is very good for. It’s a very easy recipe, you just have to wait for it to come out of the oven.

Preparation

    1. Preheat the oven to 180℃.
    2. Put the gnocchi in a baking dish and mix with the grated cheese. Place the frozen spinach pieces on top.
    3. Mix the Bertolli Pesto alla Genovese with the milk and then pour it over the baking dish.
    4. Finally, add some breadcrumbs and powdered parmesan on top. Put the baking dish in the oven for 40 min or until browned and crispy. PS Extra tip: the empty glass Bertolli jars make perfect little flower vases. Buon apetito!

  • 1 jar Bertolli Pesto alla Genovese
  • 2x 500g Gnocchi (the version that cooks the quickest)
  • 175g grated cheese
  • 450g frozen spinach a la crème cubes
  • 400ml milk
  • 20g powdered Parmesan cheese
  • A handfull of breadcrumbs
